Ashland County Land and Water Resource Management Plan
The Ashland County LWRM Plan contains objectives and activities expected to meet goals established by the Advisory Committee. The plan is drafted for 10 years, with a work plan to be revised in 5 years. This plan guides work of the Land and Water Conservation Department in conserving water resources, reducing non-point source pollution, improving nutrient management, and implementing adaptive conservation while supporting sustainable economic and recreational resource use in Ashland County.
Goals, objectives, and activities established in the plan will help to guide the Department’s initiatives through the year 2029. They will also provide the basis for funding those initiatives from various private, local, state, and federal sources.
The Ashland County Land and Water Resource Management Plan 2020-2029 was approved by the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Board on August 6, 2019 and approved by the Ashland County Board on October 10, 2019. View the document here.
